How To Use TORQ R Polisher Kit
- Shake well and apply 4-5 drops of V36 to Orange Pad.
- Prime pad with Pad Conditioner.
- Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.
- Turn on the machine while slowing easing it onto the surface while set to speed setting 1
- Increase speed to 3-4 and using light pressure.
- Work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.
- Examine results. If you are satisfied with results, proceed to step 10.
- If you are not satisfied with results, try using V34 with the Orange Pad; if you are satisfied, proceed to step 10.
- If an even more aggressive approach is needed, switch to the Yellow Cutting Pad.
- Refine finish with white pad and V38 Final Polish.
- Work until optical clarity is achieved.
- Remove residue with clean microfiber towel.

I followed the YouTube instructions from Chemical Guys with the full Torqx kit with no deviations. Topped off the 3 phase buff out with Butter Wax and and the Torqx was more than up to the job. My 2022 Z4 M401i is ready for summer. Degree or difficulty is easy so no reason not to buy the setup for awesome results.

I was looking for a polisher in this size to fit in below my DW849xp and above my 3" rotary and D/A polishers, and the Christmas sale convinced me to buy this one.
The first work-out for this polisher was several hours long, setting the polisher down occasionally to inspect/wipe/add compound and change pads. It never sat long enough to cool down much and was warm when restarting with absolutely no problems, a couple of times I put some substantial pressure downward on the pad and the motor growled a little, but it didn't slow or stop and there were no problems with any of the controls. Having preset speeds definitely is quicker than thumbing to a speed.
I like this machine, it has a sweet spot with the balance of the polisher and the flatness of the pad. If you keep it in that spot, machine can be controlled with little effort. I intend to try 6" back plate and bigger pads too. I'm pleased with this polisher and I would buy it again.
