The TORQ R5 Backing Plate fits any dual action polisher that accepts 5/16’’ - 24 spindle accessories with the hook and loop system. The 3” backing plate is ideal for small and hard-to-reach areas, while the 5” backing plate is a versatile workhorse that strikes a perfect balance of coverage and focused cutting power. Go with the 6” option to cover the largest surfaces areas in the shortest amount of time.

Have way through polishing my truck the red
Backing plate separated from the base. Finished as others had said with the yellow sanding pad. Will be trying to get it replaced shortly...first time using this out of the box pretty bummed

Ordered the Torq x kit and c4/p4 polish from these guys. Haven't got a chance to really try it out yet but was having a problem finding the polishing pads unless ordering directly from chemical guys that would work with my polisher. So wanted a differnt size backing plate and had a hard time finding right one. Not only did the customer rep help me find it but he sent it free of charge for an inconvenience I really didn't have. Just shows you how far they are willing to go to keep their customers using their products happy and returning.
