How To Use TORQ 10FX Random Orbital Polisher Kit
- Shake well and apply 4-5 drops of V36 to Orange Pad.
- Prime pad with Pad Conditioner.
- Dab product out evenly across 2' x 2' section.
- Turn on machine on surface to speed setting 1 to spread product.
- Increase speed to 5-6 and using moderate pressure.
- Work area in 2-3 passes until product becomes clear.
- Examine results. If you are satisfied with results, proceed to step 10.
- If you are not satisfied with results, try using V34 with the Orange Pad; if you are satisfied, proceed to step 10.
- If an even more aggressive approach is needed, switch to the Yellow Cutting Pad.
- Refine finish with white pad and V38 Final Polish.
- Work until optical clarity is achieved.
- Remove residue with clean microfiber towel.

The Velcro detached from the head of the machine where you attach the pads to easy. The machine gets very hot and will burn the back of the polish pads if you aren't careful

I have been patiently quiet for over 3 years now since I purchased this exact kit so I could post an accurate and honest review of Chemical Guys products. I have no connection to Chemical Guys other that I am a faithful customer and I want to share my success with others so they may enjoy the same great feeling of driving a super clean car. I blindly went online searching for a way to restore the finish on my 2010 Inferno Red Dodge Charger which has sat outside it's whole life, never has seen a garage. I stumbled across these guys and checked out their site. I was impressed with the fact that they had video tutorials on how to PROPERLY use each of their products. If a company goes to such efforts to assure their products are used properly, well, that screams quality to me. So, I went "all in" and purchased this kit. Then, I followed the video instruction along with common sense on each level of polishing and OH MY GOD !!!!! My car has a definite show quality finish now! I was absolutely blown away with the results. It looks like you can reach right into the paint! It is hard work and requires commitment to complete several applications of the various grades of polish, but the end result is absolutely worth the work!!! Once the initial applications of the 4 different grades of polish are complete, just a maintenance polish using only V38 optical grade polish and a coating of Jet Seal once a year is enough to keep my steel horse looking its finest!! Bought this a few months ago and just have used it today (09-30-17). Used the 36 polish but it was not enough so backed down one to 34 then to 38 then to butter wax. I am very pleased with the buffer and the product...hard getting used to the speed buttons at first as i kept accidently pushing one with my right hand that was holding the handle of the buffer. My wife was "tickled pink" at the results. I also did all the windows at the same time.

I purchased the 10FX kit two months ago. Due to work and weather had not been able to use. This was a replacement for a different brand. The 10FX performed flawlessly! I found it well balanced, comfortable to hold and extremely quiet for a buffer. Heat from the machine was minimal and far less than what I expected. This is an awesome product for beginners and experienced alike. I highly recommend the 10FX, Torq and CG products. Good job CG!
